Officials have established 611 examination centres across 27 districts, with Jaipur emerging as the largest hub. The Examination Controller of Kolhan University stated, “The decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam, while minimizing inconvenience to students.” Candidates must also arrive at their respective centres at least 1–2 hours prior to the reporting time.
The National Testing Agency has released the NEET UG Admit Card 2026, crucial for candidates on exam day. This year’s test comprises 180 questions, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total of 720 marks. The marking scheme awards +4 points for correct answers and deducts -1 point for incorrect ones.
To accommodate the influx of candidates, special trains will operate on May 3. “Railways to run ‘special trains’ for NEET exam,” an official noted, ensuring ease of travel for those heading to their designated exam centres. Alongside this logistical support, candidates are advised to follow strict exam guidelines, including avoiding prohibited items like mobile phones and electronic gadgets.
