UPPCS 2024 Results: Neha Panchal Tops the Examination

uppcs — IN news

The announcement of the UPPCS 2024 results has sent ripples of excitement across Uttar Pradesh, with Neha Panchal emerging as the top candidate. Her achievement not only highlights her dedication but also marks a significant moment in the ongoing efforts to enhance representation in civil services.

Neha’s success is particularly noteworthy as it comes in a year where six women made it to the top 10 ranks of the UPPCS examination. Ananya Trivedi and Abhay Pratap Singh secured the second and third positions, respectively, showcasing a competitive spirit among the candidates.

This year’s examination saw a total of 241,359 candidates appear for the preliminary tests held on December 22, 2024. Out of the 947 posts available, 932 have been filled, with 613 men and 319 women selected. The success rate for women in this year’s examination stands at an impressive 34.22%, indicating a positive trend towards gender equality in civil services.

The journey to these results was not without challenges. In November 2024, aspirants protested for a single-day preliminary examination due to a paper leak incident, which underscored the intense pressure and scrutiny surrounding these competitive exams.

The mains examination took place from June 29 to July 2, 2025, followed by interviews conducted between February 16 and March 20, 2026. The final results were declared on March 29, 2026, culminating a rigorous selection process.

Ashok Kumar, a spokesperson for the commission, mentioned, “Information regarding candidates’ marks and category-wise/post-wise cut-off marks will soon be published on the Commission’s website,” indicating that further details will be made available to the public.

The UPPCS examination continues to be a vital pathway for aspiring civil servants in Uttar Pradesh, and the success of candidates like Neha Panchal serves as an inspiration for many. As the landscape of civil services evolves, the commitment to inclusivity and excellence remains paramount.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific marks achieved by the top candidates, but the impact of these results is already being felt across the state.
