More than 48 lakh applicants are vying for over 25,000 vacancies in various forces, including the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, SSF, and NCB. The selection process is rigorous, comprising a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination. The exam will cover objective-type questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, and English or Hindi.
As candidates await the release of their admit cards, which are expected to be available 3 to 5 days before the exam, they are reminded to check their exam city through the city intimation slip. “Candidates should continue preparation and utilize the extra time effectively,” the spokesperson advised, highlighting the importance of staying focused during this period of uncertainty.
Furthermore, candidates will have the opportunity to submit their preferred exam week from April 11 to April 15, 2026. However, it is essential to note that submitting a preference does not guarantee allocation to the chosen week, a reminder of the competitive nature of this examination.
Despite the postponement, many see this as a chance to enhance their preparation. “The postponement of SSC GD Constable 2026 may feel uncertain, but it also provides a valuable chance to improve preparation,” said an education expert.
