India Wins ICC Men’s T20 World Cup
In a remarkable display of cricket, India secured the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title for a record third time by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs on March 9, 2026, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India’s victory was celebrated with midnight festivities across the country, as fans rejoiced in the historic win. This triumph adds to India’s legacy in T20 cricket, being the only nation to have won the tournament three times.
Looking ahead, India aims to build on this success as they set their sights on winning a gold medal at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
