Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao acknowledged the decades-long struggle and sacrifices that led to Telangana’s statehood, calling it a “hard-won achievement.” Speaking at the first District Collectors’ Conference at the Dr. B R Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, Rao lauded the region’s journey and expressed his pride in its progress.
Adding to the celebration of this historic achievement, the Chief Minister announced a significant allocation of Rs.105 crore for the 21-day Formation Day celebrations. The event is planned to mark the 10th anniversary of Telangana’s statehood.
“Nine years of rapid strides made by the State helped it in emerging as the pride of the nation,” Rao stated, emphasizing Telangana’s development and transformation.
The Chief Minister has big plans for the celebrations, calling for a comprehensive event that involves all sections of people. He directed the Collectors to follow the day-wise schedule finalized for the districts, underlining his intention to organize a grand celebration.
