Hyundai Verna Facelift Launches in India
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has officially launched in India, marking a significant update for the popular sedan. With a price range starting from Rs 10.98 lakh to Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model aims to strengthen Hyundai’s position in the competitive sedan market.
The updated Verna is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10, catering to a diverse customer base. Notably, the facelift introduces two new color options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, enhancing its visual appeal.
Under the hood, the Verna offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This range provides buyers with choices that suit their performance preferences.
In terms of safety, the new Verna is equipped with a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite and seven airbags, reflecting Hyundai’s commitment to passenger safety. The interior features dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, enhancing the driving experience with modern technology.
Additionally, the new Verna includes a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, adding convenience and security for users. The trunk capacity stands at 528 litres, making it practical for everyday use.
Deliveries for the new Verna are expected to commence by the end of the month, allowing eager customers to experience the latest features and upgrades. The updated model will compete directly with established rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
