Hyundai Verna Receives 2026 Model-Year Update
Hyundai India has given a 2026 model-year update to the Hyundai Verna. The new Verna has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a significant step forward for the brand in the competitive sedan market.
The updated model is offered in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6 Plus, HX8, and HX10. Notably, the new Verna is 30 mm longer than its predecessor, bringing its total length to 4565 mm. This increase in size contributes to a more spacious interior and a generous boot space of 528 litres.
Safety features have also been enhanced, with the new Verna now equipped with seven airbags, an upgrade from the previous model’s six. This change reflects Hyundai’s commitment to improving passenger safety in its vehicles.
The new Verna continues to offer two engine options: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The turbo variant produces an impressive 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque, providing a robust driving experience.
In addition to performance upgrades, the new Verna includes modern features such as a built-in dashcam and a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, enhancing both convenience and safety for drivers.
New color options have been introduced as well, with the Verna now available in Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, appealing to a wider range of customer preferences.
